How It Works
- Install and activate the plugin
- Go to WooCommerce > Gun Made
- Enter your email and click “Connect to Gun Made”
- Your products start appearing on gunmade.com within minutes
Requirements

Third Party Services
This plugin connects your WooCommerce store to Gun Made, an external product search engine for firearms, ammunition, and accessories.
When you click “Connect to Gun Made”, the plugin:
- Creates a read-only WooCommerce REST API key (visible in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API)
- Sends the following data to Gun Made’s servers at
plugins.gunmade.com:- Your store URL
- Your email address
- The API key credentials (consumer key and secret, used to read your product catalog)
Once connected, Gun Made’s servers periodically read your product catalog via the WooCommerce REST API to generate a product feed displayed on gunmade.com. Gun Made only uses read-only access and never modifies your store data.
Installation
- Download the plugin ZIP file
- Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin in your WordPress admin
- Select the ZIP file and click Install Now
- Activate the plugin
- Go to WooCommerce > Gun Made to connect your store

Do I need a Gun Made account?

No separate account is needed. When you connect through this plugin, your dealer account is created automatically.

Is my store data safe?

Yes. Gun Made only requests read-only access to your product catalog. We never modify your store data, orders, or customer information. The API key created by this plugin is visible in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API so you can verify its permissions at any time.

How often does my product feed update?

Your product feed updates automatically every 15 minutes. Price changes, stock updates, and new products are reflected on gunmade.com within 15 minutes.

What if I have multiple store locations?

Gun Made supports multi-location inventory. You can configure your store locations in the Gun Made dashboard after connecting.

Can I control which products appear on Gun Made?

Yes. You can map specific categories and configure your feed settings in the Gun Made dashboard. Products with UPCs will appear by default, and category mapping gives you maximum control over visibility.

How do I disconnect?

Go to WooCommerce > Gun Made and click “Disconnect from Gun Made” at the bottom of the page. This removes the API key and clears all connection data.

What happens to the API key when I disconnect or uninstall?

The read-only API key created by this plugin is automatically deleted when you disconnect or uninstall the plugin. Nothing is left behind.
