Do you want to test whether the WordPress installation is sending mail or not?. WP Test Email is helps you to do that.
It allows you to send simple test email to an email address of your choice.

Installation
- Log in to your WordPress admin panel and go to Plugins -> Add New
- Type WP Test Email in the search box and click on search button.
- Find WP Test Email plugin.
- Then click on Install Now after that activate the plugin.
OR
- Download and save the WP Test Email plugin to your hard disk.
- Login to your WordPress and go to the Add Plugins page.
- Click Upload Plugin button to upload the zip.
- Click Install Now to install and activate the plugin.

You should improve the code to make it use the same configuration as WP ..
Emails work perfectly, if tested with mail-testers, whether they are sent from Outlook, from the cell or from the site ..
Only with one plugin doesn't work, this ..!

A big thank you to the plugin creator!
I needed to send a test email and this little lightweight plugin did exactly that. Between installing, troubleshooting, and uninstalling, I was done what I needed to do in about five minutes.
Don't let the low number of active users fool you. This is a very useful little plugin, but not one that needs to stay installed once you're done testing.
