Changelog
1.10.0
- Lighter on every page. The points of interest dataset was read into memory on every single request — including admin pages, AJAX calls and pages with no shortcode at all — costing around 8 MB each time. It is now read only when a shortcode actually needs it.
- The bundled dataset ships without its 381 duplicate records, so it is 40% smaller and no longer has to be de-duplicated on the fly at each load.
- Fixed: a shortcode used without the
limitattribute wrote a PHP warning to the error log on every render. - Tested up to WordPress 7.1.
