Perfect for international stores that want to enhance checkout usability and make country selection faster, clearer and more intuitive for customers. ### Features (Free) * Adds **country flags** next to each country name in the dropdown * Works with **WooCommerce Classic Checkout** and **Checkout Blocks** * Multiple **flag shapes**: rectangle, square, circle * Optional **border and radius** for custom appearance * Option to **show or hide the “Country / Region” label** * Lightweight – no external libraries required * Fully translatable (English & Polish included) * Compatible with HPOS (High Performance Order Storage) ### Coming Soon – PRO Version The upcoming PRO edition will introduce advanced features: * Select and restrict which countries appear in the dropdown * Priority countries (pin selected countries to the top) * Custom order of countries * Live-search country filtering inside the dropdown * Upload or override custom flag icons * Additional visual styles and layout options If you’re interested in early access or creating your own plugin, contact me: ** https://krupakacper.pl/** ### Why This Plugin? Because the default WooCommerce dropdown is long, outdated and difficult to navigate– especially on stores selling internationally. A dropdown with flags offers a strong visual cue and improves checkout conversion rates. ## Installation 1. Download the plugin ZIP or install directly from WordPress.org. 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress. 3. Go to **WooCommerce -> Settings -> Country Flags** to configure appearance. 4. Flags will automatically appear on the checkout page. ## FAQ ### Does it work with WooCommerce Checkout Blocks? Yes – the plugin fully supports Checkout Blocks and Classic Checkout. ### Does it work with HPOS (High Performance Order Storage)? Yes. The plugin declares compatibility with HPOS. ### Does it slow down my checkout? No. Flags are loaded lazily only when needed, so performance impact is minimal. ### Can I limit the list of available countries? Not in the free version. This feature will be included in the upcoming **PRO Version**. ### Can I add my own flags? This will be possible in **PRO Version**. ### Does it support translation? Yes. The plugin includes English and Polish translations, and you can add more via`. po` / `.mo` files. ## Reviews There are no reviews for this plugin. ## Contributors & Developers “Checkout Country Flags for WooCommerce” is open source software.
