AMS Hide Page and Post Title is a simple plugin that allows authors to hide the title tag on single pages and posts via the edit post screen.


  1. Install AMS Hide Page and Post Title either via the plugin directory, or by uploading the files to your server.
  2. Activate the plugin.
  3. That’s it. You’re ready to go!

This worked for me even though it is “untested” with my WordPress version (and I was so happy because the first three similar plugins I tried either did not work at all or, in one case, the title loaded and quickly disappeared, making the page jump after I saw the title I wasn’t supposed to see). Thanks!

It hid the titles, but also hid the the pull-down menus on the Virtue theme. ‘Hide Title’ is the recommended plugin.

I installed this Plugin and when activated and used it took out my whole menu along with the page title.
